  • Familiar with Windows Cluster, File Server, DFS, OS performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience building, managing, and upgrading VMware virtualization environments.
  • Troubleshooting, analysis, and logging information for reporting performance exceptions.
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning in Azure and on-prem environments.
  • Remote management of servers through ILO, DRAC, and RSA.
  • Experience in IT operations, Windows administration, Windows server patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Resolving incident tickets, remote system administration of Windows servers, Azure tenant administration, and resolving Level 1 & 2 support.
  • Applying critical Microsoft patches on servers, managing OS-related security and vulnerability management, OS hardening, and monitoring.
  • Upgrading drivers, firmware, and HPSP deployment on physical servers.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
  • Administration of Windows-based servers (Win 2K12/2K16/2K19/2K22).
  • Management of server hardware (chassis, blades, and rack servers) with hypervisors and Windows OS.
  • Work closely with application support and security teams to implement up-to-date patch levels and application-specific feature configurations.
  • Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, firewall, proxy servers, routers, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Support cloud infrastructure models, including private, public, and hybrid.
  • Ability to configure VMs and web applications through Azure Web Portal and Command Line Interface through PowerShell.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Administrator AZ-104, AZ-900.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience as Wintel, Cloud administrator.
  • MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect) or MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure).
  • Microsoft MCSA in Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016.
  • Microsoft MCSA in Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate.
  • ITIL foundation certification.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, AWS.
  • Experience in hybrid on-premises to cloud, private and multi-cloud, and workload migration.
  • Previous experience in a help desk support and troubleshooting role.
  • Experience supporting virtual servers and solving network issues.
  • Experience in a 24x7 managed services, hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment.
  • System administration and support experience (Windows operating systems; experience with mixed environments).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and networking subnetting, routing, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Azure-based deployments or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Cloud Services such as Azure, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Exchange Online, Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server 2012 - 2019 and Active Directory environments.
Job-Specific Skills:
  • Previous experience as a Windows Administrator.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, VMware).
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of internet protocols, LAN/WAN networking, micro-segmentation, firewalls, WAF, and load-balancers.
  • Understanding of working on any virtualization environment.
  • Understanding of high availability configurations, DR, and backup solutions for cloud services.
  • Understanding of monitoring and alerting within multi-cloud environments.
  • Problem-solving skills and effective communication of solutions and associated risks.
  • Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Recommend appropriate technology for tool selection.
  • Hands-on experience with MSSQL and/or other databases.
  • Familiarity with VMware and SAN management and concepts.
  • Knowledge in PowerShell.
  • Solid networking knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
