Auto Mechanic - ADNOC Group - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Perform routine automotive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, AC recharges, front-end alignments, and battery or light installations.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify repair needs and provide accurate recommendations.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and emissions compliance; carry out repairs and conduct test drives.
• Ensure preventive, condition-based, and breakdown maintenance activities are completed on time and recorded in computerized systems.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the work environment to support safety and equipment longevity.
• Test vehicles and equipment post-repair to confirm operational reliability.
• Interpret diagrams, use gauges, meters, and follow technical instructions for repairs.
• Attend breakdowns promptly, carrying out necessary repairs while observing safety procedures.
• Support internal and external quality audits and maintain compliance with ISO standards.
• Maintain records of work orders, safety permits, and repair schedules; provide progress updates to supervisors.
• Train UAE Nationals through on-the-job training in alignment with competency development programs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
• Participate in emergency response duties when required.

• Diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering or equivalent trade certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair, preferably in oil, gas, or industrial fleet environments.
• Proficiency in diagnostics, use of computerized maintenance management systems, and repair tools.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices, quality standards, and safe work practices.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, operate gauges, and interpret test results.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
