The Director of Food and Beverage oversees all aspects of the food and beverage operations within a company, including menu planning, purchasing, costing, and overall guest satisfaction.Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives in food and beverage.
2. Oversee menu planning, pricing, and food and beverage offerings to meet customer expectations and maximize profitability.
3. Manage food and beverage budgets and control costs by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
5. Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff to deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food and beverage services for events and special functions.
7. Monitor customer feedback and respond to complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Stay current with industry trends and implement new initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience.Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in food and beverage management.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
5. Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
7. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
