We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to oversee cost estimation, budget management, and contractual matters for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that MEP works are completed within scope, budget, and schedule, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for MEP systems based on project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for MEP works.
Prepare tender documentation and evaluate contractor/subcontractor tenders.
Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs and expenditures throughout the construction phase.
Manage change orders and variations related to MEP works.
Conduct cost control and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Prepare and review progress reports, cost reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve cost and contractual issues.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify work quantities.
Manage and mentor junior surveyors and support staff.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and contractual practices.
Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel, AutoCAD).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.MEP Senior Quantity Surveyors - AED 10,000-13,000 (2 vacancy- UAE Experience must)
