Overview of the role:In the Service Office organisation, there is a team of Sales & Range specialists that each have responsibility for one Business Area. In a territory where the Sales & Range specialists are highly experienced and skilled, some individuals can take responsibility for more than one Business Area. Securing that the range to be sold in the local market is selected and priced each business year. To achieve the Sales and Gross Margin goals as set by the Sales manager for your Business Area.What you will do:Sales & Commercial Performance
  • Drive sales and profitability by ensuring your area is merchandised and priced according to the IKEA concept.
  • Monitor daily performance against targets and take actions to improve results.
  • Ensure top-selling and priority products are always available, well-presented, and supported by the right customer communication.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead by example and create a positive, inclusive, high-performing team culture.
  • Coach and develop your team through regular feedback, training, and hands-on support.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones and contribute to performance evaluations and succession planning.
Customer Experience
  • Ensure your team consistently delivers excellent customer service.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues effectively and support co-workers in doing the same.
  • Lead your team in understanding customer needs, and using that insight to improve the shopping experience.
Collaboration & Operational Efficiency
  • Work closely with Logistics, Range, and other departments to optimize stock flow and product availability.
  • Support commercial calendar activities and ensure execution on the shop floor.
  • Secure daily routines are followed and safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met.
