Job DescriptionGEMS Cambridge International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Mathematics Teacher who can join us immediately this coming AY 2025-26. This position involves teaching mathematics from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 (A-Level) as well.We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual who can inspire a love of mathematics in our students and help them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive department, working alongside experienced colleagues to deliver an engaging and rigorous curriculum.Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, following the UK National Curriculum.- Teach A-Level Mathematics at Key Stage 5 (desirable).- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and instructional materials to cater to diverse learning needs.- Assess student progress through various assessment methods and provide constructive feedback.- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement.- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and share best practices.- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events.Requirements:- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a British curriculum setting.- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics or a closely related field.- A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.Benefits:GEMS Cambridge International School offers a competitive compensation package, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
