The Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports dictated by physicians and healthcare professionals. This role ensures that patient records are precise, complete, and compliant with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.Key Responsibilities:Transcribe medical reports, including history and physical reports, operative reports, discharge summaries, consultation notes, and other medical documentation.
Review audio recordings for clarity and accuracy.
Ensure all transcriptions adhere to medical terminology, spelling, grammar, and formatting standards.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
Edit and proofread transcribed documents for quality assurance.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify unclear or ambiguous dictations.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and meet designated turnaround times.
Update and manage electronic medical record systems.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role.
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
Excellent listening, typing, and editing skills.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
Educational qualification: Medical Transcription Certification, Diploma or Degree in Medical Transcription, or related healthcare field.- Ideal candidate: Arabic speaker with strong English communication
