• Responsible for day to day operations of the vessel.
• Ensuing statutory & classification surveys for all plants and equipment on the fleet are carried out on time.
• To conduct audits of company offices & ships S.M.S.
• Investigating machinery failures & all insurance claims related to any damage.
• To ensure technical inspection of vessels are done and detailed inspection report is prepared in the company’s standard format, submitting the same to VP-Technical for review.

• Minimum 2-3 years of sailing experience as Chief Engineer
• Fluency in English
• Education – B.Tech/ M.Tech
