- Administrative Duties: Manage clerical tasks such as creating and maintaining patient records, handling correspondence, and organizing documentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of medications and supplies, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained.
- Customer Service: Assist customers by answering general inquiries, directing them to the pharmacist for specific medication-related questions, and managing transactions at the cash register.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately input prescription information into the pharmacy's computer system and maintain up-to-date records for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all activities adhere to the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH) regulations and assist in preparing reports as required
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience: Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
