The role supports the Legal Director and offers exposure to compliance, governance, financing, and M&A, making it a dynamic career opportunity within a highly respected regional business.What You'll Do
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and entity structuring in accordance with UAE corporate laws
- Advise on risk mitigation, regulatory obligations, and liaise with authorities like DFM, SCA, and Dubai Economy
- Support treasury and capital market activities, including financing, bonds, equity, and investment instruments
- Assist senior legal leadership in resolving disputes, arbitration, and investigations
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts, legal memos, and M&A-related documentation
- Guide internal stakeholders in interpreting laws, policies, and regulatory frameworks
- Deliver compliance trainings and legal workshops for operational teams
- Supervise junior lawyers, monitor external counsel, and streamline legal workflow using data and technology
- LLB from a recognized university (LLM or additional certifications are an advantage)
- At least 5 years' post-qualification legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department within the UAE or GCC
- Strong grasp of UAE Company Law, Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) regulations, DFM/ADX guidelines, and corporate governance principles
- Track record in advising public or pre-IPO companies, with hands-on involvement in capital markets and regulatory filings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills with the ability to manage complex matters independently
