We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Business Group Leader - Building Engineering to join our Abu Dhabi office and drive strategic growth, innovation, and excellence across our Building Engineering practice. 🔹 About the RoleAs a Business Group Leader, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing the vision and strategy for our Building Engineering business in the UAE. You will lead a high-performing team, manage key client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects. 🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Translate GHD's global mission into a regional strategy for the Building Engineering group. Drive business planning, performance, and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders to support business growth and reputation.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource planning to meet business targets.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Lead change initiatives, optimize work processes, and ensure alignment with GHD's quality and safety standards.
- Market Positioning: Represent GHD in industry forums and contribute to brand strategy and market visibility.
- Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 10-15 years of industry experience, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
- Expertise: Proven track record in business management, strategic planning, and delivering complex building engineering projects.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to lead through influence and inspire high-performing teams.
