HVAC Design Engineer

• Conduct detailed heat load calculations using HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
• Perform fresh air calculations to ensure adequate ventilation and indoor air quality.
• Execute air balancing for efficient HVAC system performance.
• Design and select equipment for various HVAC systems including VRF systems, DX systems, package units, and chilled water systems.
• Design and perform calculations for smoke management systems in compliance with Abu Dhabi Civil Defense (ADCD) requirements.
• Design and select appropriate kitchen ventilation systems.
• Design and select air outlets, including grills and diffusers, for optimal air distribution.
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of HVAC systems into building designs.
• Conduct site visits to verify installation and operation of HVAC systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software, particularly HAP.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and design standards.
• Experience with smoke management system design in compliance with ADCD.
• Ability to design kitchen ventilation systems and select appropriate equipment.
• Experience in designing and selecting air outlets (grills and diffusers).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
