- Supervise daily operations of the pipe department, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.
- Review and approve project programs, taking corrective measures to meet contractual delivery.
- Research and implement new fabrication and welding techniques to improve efficiency.
- Execute instructions from the Department Manager and act as deputy in their absence.
- Define daily work priorities and allocate resources effectively.
- Coordinate with other trades, ship repair managers, and superintendents to ensure smooth project flow.
- Inspect worksites, workshops, and onboard activities to verify resource optimization.
- Approve repair methods, material requisitions, and raise occurrence reports.
- Halt operations if quality standards are not being met.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in shipyard or offshore piping operations.
- Strong technical expertise in pipe fabrication and welding.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage teams and enforce compliance with safety and quality standards.
