- **Parts Ordering:** Assess the part needs for a consumer or business representative. Needs to listen to the make, model, and problem information, and then recommend the right part for a repair job.
- Contributes to managing inventory and ordering parts and works to meet customers' needs.
- Is strong interpersonally, establishing rapport with customers in person and on the phone and asking questions that help to locate the needed parts or service and any related parts or services in which customers might be interested.
- Is aware of seasonal requirements for parts and of requirements for parts that arise because of recalls or specials in the Service Department.
- **Warehouse Management:** Must know which parts are in inventory, require reordering, or must be specially ordered.
- Assists the Parts Manager in resolving discrepancies between the computer inventory and the actual parts available in bins.
- Obtains the information needed to place special orders and ensures that the correct parts are sent.
- Must research the availability of certain parts, either within the dealership or from other sources as necessary and must be able to search part numbers using the computer.
- **Stock Forecast:** Ensure employers have an adequate supply of equipment and parts.
- **Supplier Coordination:** Maintain records of all customer transactions to ensure they comply with company guidelines and that stock records remain updated.
- Storekeeper efficiency Maintain and organize inventory of parts and accessories.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts to technicians and customers.
- Utilize computer systems and resources to research parts and inventory availability.
- Provide excellent customer service, including addressing and resolving customer concerns or complaints.
- Keep up to date with new and existing products and parts to provide customers with accurate information.
- **Inventory Overview:** Monitor parts inventory in the shop or store, to organize inventory in for easy order pulls, and to replenish inventory as needed.
- Source, order, and maintain inventory levels of automotive parts.
- Effectively communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Assist mechanics or technicians in identifying part numbers and compatibility.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory levels
- Adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures, policies, specifications, and standards
- Maintains quality service by rigorously following standards at the workplace
- Identifies & assesses the areas where internal controls and compliance need to be established within the Division
- Promotes a culture of adhering to regulatory and other compliances associated with the division
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Certificate
- Automotive Training
- Parts Advisor Training
- 3+ years experience ordering automotive parts in UAE
- 5+ years experience as an automotive parts advisor
- Multi brand automotive experience is a must
- MS Office skills
- Automotive Stock Systems
- Sales Skills
- Automotive Technical Skills are a plus
