- Ensure robust material selection and corrosion mitigation strategies tailored for offshore environments.
- Lead integrity assessments and corrosion risk evaluations for offshore rotating equipment and structures.
- Develop and implement offshore-specific corrosion monitoring and inspection programs.
- Ensure compliance with offshore industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., NACE, API RP 2A, ISO).
- Collaborate with offshore operations, maintenance, and inspection teams to enhance asset reliability and longevity.
- Material Selection & Specification - Expertise in choosing appropriate materials for various operating conditions and environments.
- Corrosion Engineering - Deep understanding of corrosion mechanisms, mitigation techniques, and protective coatings.
- Rotating Equipment Knowledge - Familiarity with materials and corrosion issues specific to pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.
- Standards & Compliance - Proficient in NACE, API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant industry standards.
- Failure Analysis - Skilled in root cause analysis and resolution of material degradation and corrosion-related failures.
- Inspection & Monitoring - Experience in developing and implementing corrosion monitoring and inspection programs.
- Project Leadership - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical deliverables across project phases.
- Communication & Reporting - Strong technical writing and presentation skills for reporting findings and recommendations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil & gas projects, including at least 5 years in packaged equipment engineering.
- Offshore project experience (brownfield/greenfield) is preferred.
- Familiarity with ADNOC specifications and packaged equipment requirements.
- Proven experience in vendor coordination and conducting technical evaluations.
- Strong understanding of package design and interface management.
- Effective coordination and communication across disciplines and with vendors.
- Proficient in reviewing vendor documents and resolving technical clarifications.
- Skilled in preparing technical reports, technical queries (TQs), and compliance matrices.
