Position Type: Permanent DirectJob Responsibilities:Responsible for driving Private Banking Business presence in the UAE, regionally and internationally through management vision and leadership
Head of PB has direct reports of business leaders consisting of Reginal/ Unit Heads , Investment Advisory, and Credit Solutions, and Client Experience teams.
Ensure the profitability and business targets and objectives of Private Banking Business are met and/or exceeded.
Manage, lead, train and motivate the PB Business teams across all disciplines and functions and maintain high standards of professionalism and technical competence
Champion the growth of Private Banking Business through identifying, acquiring, building and retaining existing talent and hiring new talent. Direct responsibility to growing Private Banking business via identifying, acquiring, building and retaining existing client relationships, and acquisition of new clients.
Provide guidance and vision in growing and deepening the product set and investment services and expanding the overall Private Banking business proposition.
Offer senior and subject matter expert input across businesses, Wealth Management, Priority Banking and Investment offerings.
Ensure high standard of private wealth management customer service and relationship management
Fully updated on PB trends, competitive landscape in all relevant markets in which Private Banking business operates.
Always updated on economic, political news and trends in as far as it impacts the business and client’s investment portfolios. Work in partnership with the other business units to cross-sell and generate ideas and to expand the overall ADIB footprint and value proposition in the UAE and InternationallyBe the " face" Private Banking and act as the ambassador to both internal and external stakeholders including UBF (UAE Banks Federation).
Current configuration of role are:
Balance sheet footings of AED 19 Billion (Financing assets, liabilities and Assets Under Management)
Manpower/Headcount of 50 staffs (All grade levels)
Revenue contribution of AEO 240+ Million
Net Income/Profit of AED 140+ Million
Market reach UAE, Qatar, Iraq, UK and Egypt
Contribute to building an active and broad book of clients and prospects through a strong and diversified network of business and client contacts.
Represent PB business and be active on all relevant internal senior management committees and board regular- meetings in addition to town halls and top management off-sites as and when held.
