- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers or sealers
- Apply paint, varnish, or finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mix and match paints to achieve accurate colors and finishes
- Perform touch-ups, inspections, and corrective work to maintain a polished appearance
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and ensure proper storage of materials
- Follow hotel and local safety protocols regarding the use and disposal of paints and chemicals
- Wear appropriate PPE and ensure compliance with safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with the engineering and operations teams to coordinate tasks and reduce disruption
- Provide professional and courteous service to hotel guests and staff when responding to painting-related requests
- Keep accurate records of tasks performed, materials used, and report issues promptly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training or certification in painting or a related trade preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in painting, preferably within hospitality or facilities maintenance
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques including brushing, rolling, and spraying
- Ability to mix and match paints with precision
- Physically fit to handle lifting, bending, working at heights, and outdoor tasks
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused, dependable, and a team player
- Fluent in English
