We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.Partner with the bestAs a Manufacturing Materials Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business.As a Lead Manufacturing Materials Planner, you will be responsible for:Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional and global forecasts, and convert the demand plans into physical orders.Analyzing incoming demand, and identifying order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventoryPlanning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costsWorking with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as neededPerforming various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.Implementing inventory stocking strategies, and monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventoryAssisting with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP processFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have at least 5 years of experience in Material PlanningHave strong communication and inter-personal skillsHave a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related fieldHave experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and managementHave experience in SAP and MRP functionalityCertified in CPIMShow good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvementsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
