Job Type: Full-timeWhat You'll Do
  • Review and analyze work environments to design HSE programs addressing risks from chemical, physical, biological, or ergonomic factors.
  • Conduct inspections, enforce compliance with HSE laws, and supervise unit personnel.
  • Develop scopes of work for consultants and contractors on HSE requirements.
  • Ensure project HSE performance aligns with ADNOC HSEIA codes, EIA reports, and corporate standards.
  • Review consultant and contractor design work for safety compliance and quality.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies, environmental assessments, accident investigations, and technical evaluations of project tenders.
  • Develop and update safety and environmental standards, audit programs, and training plans.
  • Lead implementation of ADNOC HSE codes of practice and sustainability reporting.
  • Supervise on-site HSE practices during construction and commissioning.
  • Monitor contractor HSE performance and intervene when unsafe practices are observed.
  • Maintain HSEMS documentation, reports, and environmental permits in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare annual HSE letters, audit plans, and progress reports for management.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and government authorities on HSE matters.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in safety engineering and HSE management within the oil and gas industry.
  • Membership in a recognized international safety engineering organization is preferred.
  • Diploma in Health and Safety Engineering is an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in HSE reporting systems.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and supervisory skills.
  • Willingness to spend up to 50% of work time at project sites.
